Cookies and local storage
Updated: 3 October 2026
Necessary for the service
The planner uses local browser storage for language, interests, dates, location, itinerary and your choice about external services. These remain until removed from your browser. After a verified purchase, the technical ls_access cookie keeps you signed in for 45 days; you can then restore access by email. Clearing browser data may erase the local itinerary.
Optional external weather widget
For a trip approaching soon, the site can show an embedded AEMET weather widget. It stays off until you accept it. Enabling it connects your browser to AEMET, which may use its own storage technologies and receive technical data. Links to official forecasts remain available if you decline.
Audience measurement
The site uses Metricool’s cookie-free audience measurement to count page views. Aggregated planner action counters are kept on our server without visitor identifiers. This tracking does not set advertising cookies.
Checkout and external links
Checkout takes place on Stripe’s website after your click; its cookies and policy apply there. Other operators’ websites load only after you click their links.
Change your choice
You can accept, reject or change the weather-widget setting using “Cookies” in the home-page footer. Your choice is saved for six months and then requested again. Withdrawal prevents future widget loads. We currently use no targeted advertising or cookie-based audience analytics.
